I believe Pilates is for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. My mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive space where you can strengthen your body, mind, and spirit through mindful movement. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the classes are designed to meet you where you are and help you achieve your personal fitness goals.

Scheduling Made Simple
Booking a session is easy! You can schedule your private, duet, or group classes directly through the user-friendly online booking system, or feel free to reach out to us for assistance. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot, but we do offer flexible options for both regular and first-time clients.

What to Know Before You Arrive

  • Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for movement. (no buttons and zippers)

  • If you’re new to the studio, please arrive 5 minutes early to meet your instructor and discuss any personal goals or concerns.

  • For group classes, we maintain a small class size (max 4 people) to ensure personalized attention, so space is limited. No late arrivals

  • We provide thick yoga mats, but if you wish to bring your own that’s great!

Welcome to A.L.P. Pilates! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Avery Pearson, and my journey to Pilates began with a passion for movement. Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, I was a competitive studio dancer, where I developed a deep love for how the body moves and performs. This led me to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary, where my understanding of movement evolved into something even more powerful.

It was during this time that I discovered Pilates—a practice that completely transformed my life. After struggling with various injuries from dance, Pilates became the key to not only overcoming that pain but also addressing the imbalances in my body that I didn’t even realize existed. It was nothing short of magic.

For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching Clinical Pilates at physiotherapy clinics, helping people strengthen and rehabilitate from injuries. I’m deeply passionate about helping my clients get back to doing the activities they love without the fear of pain holding them back. What I love most is showing people what their bodies are truly capable of and helping them tap into their own strength and potential.

At A.L.P. Pilates, I take a personalized approach to every client, tailoring sessions and programs to your unique goals and helping you continuously grow. Whether you're recovering from an injury, building strength, or just looking to feel better in your body, I’m here to guide you every step of the way!
